Computing for Humanity’s Website Goes Bilingual

At Computing for Humanity, we are committed to inclusivity and accessibility in every aspect of our mission. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a new milestone in our journey: with the generous support of Canadian through the Support for Interpretation and Translation Program, we are translating our website into French!

This grant will allow us to better serve the diverse communities across Canada, ensuring that French-speaking researchers, donors, and volunteers can easily access and engage with our programs.

Why This Matters:
Canada is a bilingual country where French and English hold equal status. By offering our resources in both languages, we are:
Strengthening our connection with Francophone communities.
Promoting inclusivity in the nonprofit and research sectors.
Expanding the reach of our mission to empower innovation and sustainability through technology.

How It Will Work:
The translation initiative, funded by Canadian Heritage, will include:

·       A full translation of our website, ensuring accurate and culturally sensitive communication.

·       A user-friendly interface that allows seamless switching between English and French.

This development aligns with our broader vision of breaking down barriers—whether they’re technological, linguistic, or geographical.

Looking Ahead:
We’re excited to launch the bilingual website. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to work toward making Computing for Humanity’s mission accessible to all Canadians!

A heartfelt thank-you to Canadian Heritage for supporting this initiative and for recognizing the importance of accessibility and inclusivity in technology and charity.
