Built entirely on a team of dedicated volunteers, Computing for Humanity recycles donated hardware from our cherished partners, refurbishes the gear to high performance industry standards (often near 80% of its original capacity) and donates the machines to researchers. In order to accomplish this, we upgrade the memory, change the drives and optimize the system.
To better serve the research community, we offer both refurbished machines deployed for in-house use and a cloud-based service, completely secure and accessible anywhere. We strive to develop relationships with many research communities (academic, hospitals, medical centres, etc.) to support their workflow, provide a user friendly and efficient interface and facilitate projects that would otherwise not be possible.

Why do we need your donation?
A server can take on a new life with an adequate upcycle. With your help in 2025, we aim at upgrading the platform performance on our systems to nearly 80%, extending the useful life of the hardware. Our goal is to deploy at least 300 supercomputers in 2025!
